Fresh Apple Cake Recipe

  • Ingredients:
    • 1 cup vegetable oil
    • 2 cups sugar
    • 3 eggs
    • 3 cups flour
    • 1 teaspoon baking soda
    • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
    • 1 cup chopped pecans
    • 3 cups peeled and chopped apples
  • Directions:
    • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 13″ pan.
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine vegetable oil, sugar, and eggs. Stir in flour and baking soda.
    • Add vanilla extract, chopped pecans, and chopped apples. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.

  • Frosting Instructions:

    • Boil all the ingredients for 2 minutes.
    • Set the saucepan in a bowl filled with ice water to cool the mixture quickly.
    • Beat the icing until it reaches a spreading consistency.
    • Spread the frosting over the top of the cooled cake.
